Learn How to get a Free Domain name without spending a penny and make your website look professional

Okay so people still find it hard sometimes to get a .com domain name , I clearly understand some could not afford it so yeah I found out a way of helping you guys get a free domain name but not in .com , but in .ml, .tk , gq, ga and so on. The coolest thing about the free domain name is that , you can apply to Google adsense with it and literally get approved.

I’m sure you’re  wondering if it actually possible to get a custom domain for your blog without spending any penny . Well, i am here to break the news to you ,it is possible to get a custom domain for free.

The domain provider we are going to use is Freenom.

How to get a Free Domain name without spending a penny and make your website look professional

First, go to www.freenom.com or click here to go to the website directly.
Then lookup to the top right corner of the website and click on sign in(even if you have not signed up before).

After clicking on sign in, you will be redirected to freenom’s login page. There you will see where to fill in your login credentials. Fill it up if you have created an account before, but if you haven’t, i will advice you to just sign in with google directly. You can do that by clicking on the box with the google logo below the login part, as shown in the picture below.

After signing in, you will be taken to your dashboard. To register a new domain, Click on ‘Services’ on the top corner of the site, and then you will see a drop down, now, click on ‘Register a New Domain’.

You will now be taken to the domain finder page, where you will search to see if your domain is available.This is how the page looks like.

 Now, you will search for your domain in the search box. Let’s say the domain name you want to use is ayomidelalemi, you will search for ayomidelalemi.ml or(tk, gq) and so on, and you will see all the available domains for ayomidelalemi. This is how it will look like:

Now this website gives free domains but some are to be paid.Yes, that is the benefit of using freenom. They give you some free domains. So, we are going to pick one of the free ones.To pick a domain, just click on the ‘Get it now!’ button and then a ‘check out’ button will appear at the top corner, click on it.

 After doing that, you will be taken to another page where you will be asked to fill in the amount of time you want the domain to be available, Just fill in 12 months(Filling in 12 months does not mean your domain will not work after 12 months, your domain will still be available, but you will have to renew it. That is also free.).
And then , you will be taken to a place where you will be asked to complete your order, Just click on the ‘Complete Order’ button

After clicking that, you will now be redirected to a page where you will see your order number.

 Just keep your order number somewhere(you might need it later). After that Click on ‘Go to Client Area’. And yes , You have successfully registered your custom domain for free. In my next post, i will be showing you how you can connect your registered domain to your blogger site. So, stay tuned.
