How To Add Copyright To Your Blog’s Footer On Blogger

Copyright is generally known as the right given to a creative work, usually for a limited time. Copyright footer goes the same way – means you own the blog and content. As a professional blogger you would want your page to look more unique. One of the things you may like to have is your own copyright written on your footer to let people know your content is being copyrighted and also make your page stand out.
It is very important for your blog to have a copyright written on your footer, so, I’ll be showing you how to remove “powered by blogger” on your footer and also how to add yours.

How to Add your Own Copyright to your Footer

Step 1

Login to your blogger.com

Step 2

On the left side of the panel, locate the “theme “,  click on the theme and click on the edit HTML.

Now scroll down to the last part and  locate where the closing body is,  it looks like this  </body>.
Make sure you don’t mistakenly delete or add any letters, number or signs because so your theme can work properly.

Step 3

Copy this :    <p style=’text-align:center ;’>Copyright © 2020 <a href=’https://www.ayomidelalemi.com/’>ayo lalemi</a> All Right Reserved</p>

And paste it right before the body,  then it will be like this:

<p style=’text-align:center ;’>Copyright © 2020 <a href=’https://www.ayomidelalemi.com/’>ayo lalemi</a> All Right Reserved</p>
</body>

After pasting it as shown above, hit the save button. If it says successfully saved, then you are on the right path. Thumbs up!

Note : Make sure to replace my name with yours before copying and pasting it on the HTML before the </body>.

Copy, pasting and save it. Your new copyright will now be displayed on the footer.

Now you should have your name and copyright placed on the footer. You can always edit the year on the footer anytime.
